Eye of the Beholder 2 Walkthrough - Introduction
You are summoned by Khelben Blackstaff, the Archmage of Waterdeep. He suspects that evil has taken over the Temple Darkmoon. Before contacting you, he had sent a scout, Amber, to investigate, but she never returned. He teleports you to the forest near Darkmoon, hoping that you might find her.
You were settling in for an evening by the fire.
Then a note was slipped to you.
It was from your friend Khelben Blackstaff, Archmage of the city.
The message was urgent.
What could Khelben want?
Servant: "Welcome, please come in."
Servant: "Khelben awaits you in his study."
Khelben: "Thank you for coming so quickly."
Khelben: "I am troubled my friend."
Khelben: "Ancient Evil stirs in the Temple Darkmoon."
Khelben: "I fear for the safety of our city."
Khelben: "I need your help."
Khelben: "Three nights ago I sent forth a scout."
Khelben: "She has not yet returned."
Khelben: "I fear for her safety."
Khelben: "Take this coin."
Khelben: "I will use it to contact you."
Khelben: "You must act quickly."
Khelben: "I will teleport you near Darkmoon."
Khelben: "May luck be with you, my friend."
